Sydney fell in love with hair at the age of 16, when she enrolled in her high school’s vocational cosmetology program before turning that passion into a fulfilling career. Today, her work is rooted in one non-negotiable priority: the long-term health of your hair. Every cut, color, and extension is designed to protect and strengthen, not compromise.

Her signature is soft, textured, lived-in beauty—effortless layers, curtain bangs, and face-framing pieces that grow out even better than they start. Color is seamless and low-maintenance: dimensional blonding, rich brunettes, and delicate baby lights that stay gorgeous for months. Men’s cuts are sharp yet easy, and expert styling elevates everything with movement and polish.

Born and raised in Arizona, Grace discovered her love for hair at a young age and knew early on that she wanted to turn that passion into a career.

With her attention to detail, bubbly personality, and welcoming energy, she cares about you and your life just as much as she cares about your hair, taking the time to make each appointment feel personal, comfortable, and intentional.

Grace specializes in customized, high-impact blonding and lived-in color. Every appointment is thoughtfully tailored to your individual hair density, texture, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences. Through intentional placement and detailed toning, she creates a look designed to enhance your unique, natural features and give you hair that feels authentically you.

Outside of the salon, you can find Grace spending time with loved ones, working out at the gym, or playing hockey with her longtime friends.

Originally from a small town in Indiana, Alex made Arizona her home ten years ago. She graduated from Penrose Academy in March of 2025 and is now assisting the owner of Cortado Salon while continuing to grow her craft behind the chair.

With a background in hospitality, Alex brings a people-first approach to every service. For her, it’s about creating beautiful hair and beautiful connections.

Alex’s favorite services include blowouts, long dark hair colors, long layered haircuts and classic bright blondes.

DEVELOPING ARTIST

Originally from Wisconsin, Olivia recently made the move to Arizona. She is excited to continue her career behind the chair while always expanding her knowledge and refining her skills.

Olivia has a passion for all things color, especially blonding and creating dimensional and lived-in color. She believes an appointment is about more than creating beautiful hair, but also about creating a comfortable, personalized, and enjoyable experience.

Outside of the salon, Olivia enjoys exploring Arizona and spending time outside, but also loves a cozy night in watching movies and her favorite shows.

FOUNDER

After 12+ years in the corporate marketing world, Jillian left her successful career to pursue her passion for hair. She loves helping clients leave the salon feeling confident, happy, and beautiful. Her services include dimensional brunette, blonding, lived-in color, hand-tied extensions, tape-in extensions, on-scalp bleach, grey coverage, women's haircuts, specialty styling, and corrective color.

Jillian is not currently accepting new clients until 2026 to make sure she can accommodate her current clients for the holiday season.

SENIOR ARTIST

Zoe was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and moved to Arizona in 2013, where she began her career in the beauty industry. She’s dual-licensed in Esthetics and Cosmetology, and she started as a makeup artist before becoming a full-time hairstylist.

Zoe founded and managed her own hair studio for many years, offering a wide range of female-focused hair services. She specializes in enhancing your natural beauty with lived-in color, cuts, and hand-tied extensions. Additionally, she is a healthy-hair focused stylist, well versed in bringing damaged hair back to life!

Zoe is currently a full-time student, dual-majoring in neuroscience and business and planning to pursue a career in healthcare. After taking a break to prioritize her health, she is thrilled to be back in the salon on a limited basis—reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones!
